Responsible Gaming

This page sets out practical advice for gambling more safely and states plainly what this site can and cannot do to help, based on how it is built.

Decide your limits before you follow any link

Set the amount you are willing to lose before you start, and treat it as already spent rather than as money you expect to see again. This makes it easier to stop at the point you chose, rather than in the moment, when it is harder to judge clearly. Never chase a loss by increasing a bet to win back what has gone: this is the pattern that turns a planned amount into an unplanned one. Keep gambling money separate from borrowed money, so a loss stays a loss and does not become a debt. Take breaks during a session, and if gambling stops feeling like entertainment and starts feeling necessary, involve someone else early rather than waiting.

Know where the actual controls live

Tools such as deposit caps, loss caps, reality checks, cooling-off periods and self-exclusion belong to an account at a destination site, not to this one. This build has no account, no form and no server-side application, so nothing published here can switch such a control on, check its status or enforce it. If you want any of these in place, they need to be set up directly in the account you hold at the operator you use, after you have followed a link there.

Understand what happens when you leave this site

Every operator listing on this site ends with the same line: check availability and the current terms at the destination before claiming anything, because eligibility rules and terms apply there and can change without notice. Everything a reader can actually do with money happens after leaving this site. Each operator link redirects to a third party, and from that point the destination's own rules, checks and account controls apply, not anything published here. Nobody's age is verified on this site and no gambling takes place on it; any age check happens at the destination. The eighteen-and-over restriction is repeated throughout this build, including on the front page and at the end of every operator listing. No advertising or behavioural profiling network is present in these pages, so nothing here is targeted at a reader based on risky behaviour.

Find independent help

Every page of this site, including this one, carries links to three independent gambling-help organisations: begambleaware.org, gamblingtherapy.org and gamcare.org.uk. These are the only outbound links on the whole site that are not commercial: unlike the operator links, they carry no sponsored marking, they are set to nofollow, and they open in a separate tab on the organisations' own websites. This site receives nothing when a reader follows them.
